Our recent update on a trio of new towers along Sixth Avenue in the blocks leading up to Herald Square included some construction shots of 835 Sixth Avenue (between 29th & 30th Streets), a massive bit of Perkins Eastman architecture that we said would be a 53-story hotel from the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group. Well, we heard from the folks at JD Carlisle, the project's developer, and they wanted us to clear up a few things. The building will be 54 stories, thankyouverymuch, and it will be so much more than just a hotel. Oh, and it'll be managed by Kimpton Hotels—they have a few other properties and doing the VU Hotel in Hell's Kitchen—not Fitzpatrick. Confused? Let us explain:
